Going out to dinner with 19month son ALWAYS turns into my WORST nightmare?
Every time we take our 19month old son out to dinner it turns into our worst nightmare. He kicks and screams. Throws everything onto the floor. Gets him self out of the highchairs. I end up having to leave the place before i get to eat. Im at a loss... We have brought toys, books, crayons, coloring books, his own food, his own booster seat, his stroller, with us. you name it we've taken it with us to try and make this work.
What on earth can i do to make going out to eat more enjoyable? We don't even go to fancy places, we usually go to chain restaurants like fridays, Chevy's, olive garden, elephant bar, etc.
Any advice guys?
Either start with some age appropriate discipline to help him learn how to behave in public, or get a babysitter. Disruptive toddlers, even if they can't help it because they are young and curious, are not only a nightmare to you but to everyone else around.
