stroller in airplane
Does anyone have experience with taking an infant on an airplane? Aged 1 to 2yrs old infant.?

Hi I am looking for information because I am taking my 15month old on her first flight and I am very nervous about it considering she doesnt like to stay still for one minute. How can I make this flight as easy as possible? Do I take the stroller/car seat on the plane? thx

Yes, its ideal to make sure they are tired for the plane trip. That helps immensely. Additionally, have on hand the comfort items like the pacifier, that favorite stuffed animal, or whatever. Bring along some quiet toys your child likes to play with. Bring the car seat/stroller on the plane. You will get to board first and the stewardess will stow it for you and help you strap the car seat into the seat of the plane.

Most important, if your child acts up, deal with it as best you can and don't worry about the other passengers. They all get annoyed way too easily anyway and you'll likely never see them again. If your child if misbehaving, take them to the bathroom and get them to calm down before returning to your seat. If they are upset by the plane experience, console them, don't get upset...this is all new.
