Joovy Kooper Umbrella Stroller Maclaren or XT?
I need a lightweight stroller for my son aged five months and I am torn between these two possibilities on the basis of some comments I've read. Can anyone tell me their opinions about both? Looking to buy older models of both. The Joovy appears to be little protection against the sun and the Maclaren XT does not have this feature, or am I wrong? If Please advise. I have the Maclaren Techno XLR. It folds up very well and is light. Easy to maneuver (sp?) Fits in my trunk and leaves plenty of space (Honda Accord and Honda Civic) and has a bar across carseats to fit most children. We were very pleased with our stroller. I was surprised by the weight. I hoped it was heavier. MacLaren has a zipper in the back of the upper facade. To decompress the deck and down more to cover the majority of children. The legs may be exposed, but thats about it. I have a months, 7 years so I havent used too something without the car seat. Also, if you go with the Maclaren ... ensure they have the repair kit or to remember that you need to contact and get Maclaren. It's free and hinge covers. Nothing drastic. But all models were affected during the 10 years 1999-2009
