Pushchair/Buggy reviews please!?
I need to start scouting about for a pram/pushchair for baby #3. I know I don't want a big pram this time but something lightweight and durable. I have googled reviews etc; but there is such a huge choice that it's all but impossible to come up with what parents find the best, "bugaboo" seems to be popular as does M & P pramette, can anyone comment please?
Hiya,
I've had 8 pushchairs in the last 3years all discounted for one reason or another.
You have to think what you want the pushchair for as they all have pro's and cons' even something like the bugaboo which you have to take the seat of to fold it down (therefore not being bus friendly).
these are good starting questions:
have you go a large place to store it?
Have you got a large boot on your car?
Will you need to use the bus?
If you need to use the bus can you fold the buggy down with on hand (useful if you have shopping). ?
Will you be using it on rough surfaces?
I found my best pram to be a 3 wheeler great for long walks easy to fold but very unsuitable for buses due to the large back wheels.
If you go on the mothercare website there a questioner about what pram is suitable for you you can also put the price your willing to pay and it comes out with suitable options.
I'd say not to get a travel system as it's recommended that the baby doesn't stay in the carseat more then a 2hr period this includes any time it's traveled in the car
